Born in Djibouti, Fouad Mirza grew up in Cairo, Egypt. 
He then moved to Los Angeles, California to study Environmental Design at Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design (1990-1994). He extended his education by studying Fine Arts at the Beaux Arts in Paris, France (1993 Summer program).

While living in America and Europe, his style and design knowledge grew and matured, resulting in a unique approach, a fusion of his Middle Eastern roots, sensitivities to European design, and American business practices. With over two decades of experience, Mirza has established a reputation as a renowned interior designer achieving substantial and global success working with internationally renowned clientele from the film, entertainment and art worlds, in addition to a wide circle of highly esteemed dignitaries
